Hi and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found me!

I’m Suzy Wright and having a family (including the fur-babies) and being the matriarch of my home has been the biggest blessing of my life.

Finding joy in the chaos is what I do best!

I get it! Managing a busy home with kids and pets can be brutal at times. Sometimes it can feel like too much. And trying to make time for some fun; forget it. Some days you probably feel like you are barely getting by with just the day-to-day expectations of surviving.

TRUTH BOMB! ????

You and your family are not meant to live that way. Our family units (including the furbabies ????) are meant to bring us joy throughout our lives.

Yes, hard work is involved. This is the case with almost everything in life that matters. But having time left over for enjoying each other in fun times should be our end goal.

But how? You ask.

What if I told you it really isn’t that hard or that big of a secret?

It’s all about going back to how we are designed for life on this Earth.

It’s about following easy, innate systems that keeps us all – adults, children, pets – functioning at our very best and all on the same page.

Our household runs like clockwork. We all know what to do and what is expected and there is always time left for what really lights our fires – Having F-U-N!

Take my hand and let’s go back to the beginning.

Everything, absolutely EVERYTHING we know, feel, trust, operates on a cycle. Planet Earth rotates. We rest our bodies at night and wake in the morning to begin a new day. Each new day leads into a new week and then another month. Our very environment, that sustains life, cycles through the seasons. Each season brings us closer to a new year. Each year adds an additional number to our age. The old die and new are born.

We plant our harvest in the fall and we reap the bounty in the spring. Summer is for outside, frolicking and enjoying all that Earth so graciously gives. The winter months force us into hibernation. We gather what we need for survival and seek shelter until the spring once again allows the sun to shine brightly.

Everything about our Earth, every living being, relies on the cycles of nature for our very survival; humans, animals, plants and vegetation. It is simply the way we are designed. It is truly a miracle when you really think about each and every moving part that literally works together to keep our world turning.

It is simply a miraculous process.

In our modern world, humans don’t need to rely on all of these natural processes as much as in the past. The majority of us have plentiful food that is always readily available. We have heated and air-conditioned homes so the seasons do not affect us as much.

However, despite the many conveniences of our modern advances, our brains are still wired for the predicable cycles of life. It’s in our DNA.

Animals in the wild still rely on their natural instincts of how the world operates for survival. Without the predictability of knowing how to plan and what to expect, they will die.

You may be wondering where exactly I am going with all of this. I am getting there and I have a point. I promise.

For many of us, our pets are part of our families. More so than any other time in history, we keep pets as companions. They are a part of our world and as an extension, enjoy all of the same modern conveniences as us.

Even though our pet companions do not need to hunt for food or seek shelter from the cold and rain or find a cool place for protection from the heat, they still need a predictable routine.

Imagine if you were not in a position to purchase, hunt or gather your own food. Imagine you are completely dependent on another for all of your basic needs. Without a predictable schedule, we will become anxious.

Many new mothers are encouraged to begin a feeding and sleeping schedule right away with a newborn. Babies who are not scheduled are simply fussier. They cry more. Their sleeping is erratic. A fussy baby can create a chaotic household.

In much the same way, a pet without structure can also create havoc. A pet needs stability. He needs to know when he can expect his next meal. He needs to know when you are likely to be back home. He needs to know how long he will be outside or the
amount of time between potty breaks. He needs this to feel secure in our world.

Otherwise, he will become anxious and nervous. This anxiety can lead to unwanted behaviors.

There is just no way of getting around it. Our children, our pets, our families simply do better with routine. A predictable schedule that they can count on. Not only is everyone happier but also more productive.

This is where I come in. I live to create basic and simple systems to keep homes running smooth as butter.

My most ambitious goal is to create a loving and fun home for my family and pets.

I wish to raise children who understand the importance of a life well-lived. I want them to learn how to care for themselves, each other, and the world at large. That starts at home. That starts with me.

I want my precious pets to feel so much love. I have rescued many pets over the years and providing them with a loving home where they feel safe and secure is the best gift I could ever give.

I would love for you to join me on this journey. I will envelope you with POSITIVE energy, equip you with everything I have learned along the way, and provide step-by-step resources.

You are not alone in this!

Let me help!

Love,
Suzy XOXO
